Wow, I thought. What a great idea for a podcast, a meeting of cultures to clarify ad discuss our differences. How wrong I was. I made it about 15 min into this podcast before I was overwhelmed by my embarrassment of being Canadian. Where did you go to school? The Queen of England is our head of state and our government is a constitutional monarchy with a similar federal/state (province) division as the US…. Way to represent Canada, hosers.
Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy the show. I never admitted to being the perfect Canadian, and yes, politics is something I could know more about. It’s a comedy podcast. Lighten up! 🙂
Wow, alrighty. A large portion of our job is to entertain, and neither of us claimed to be experts.
Good golly… In reply to the first comment that was left on this page I say, what the heck is wrong with you Jason? I know nothing about politics either. That sort of thing never interested me at all. I have only listened to two episodes of this podcast and I don’t think the point of it is to inform, it is more to entertain…A friendly discussion about two people, living in two countries, who want to learn more about each other. They are kind enough to share that with us and I thank them for that.
That being said. I am soooooo sorry I didn’t listen to this podcast sooner. I know Ryan through The Gamer’s Inn and I have played on Xbox live a couple of times with Paul so they are both people I enjoy. Being a French Canadian myself, I really enjoyed the small bit about Quebec and the miracle food that is poutine. I was invented in a town not too far from where I live and, while I don’t eat it on a regular basis, I do enjoy it from time to time.
I’ll try to catch up with the rest of the episodes guys and if you ever want a Frenchie on your show, look me up!
